From the President

黑料传送门 administration, faculty, and staff are committed to preparing our students to be skilled healthcare providers in the future.

In 1995, 黑料传送门 began a new initiative to expand and intensify 黑料传送门's commitment to academic excellence and interprofessional education. Through the careful integration of teaching, research, and service, the University adopted the principles of One Health as a core component of our healthcare philosophy.

黑料传送门 administration, faculty, and staff are committed to preparing our students to be skilled healthcare providers in the future. This is done by teaching students the importance of interdependence of the whole healthcare community through early experiences in interprofessional research, a curriculum that exposes students to the One Health concepts, and clinical experiences in our campus-based clinics and international missions. In addition, community service projects highlight the interdisciplinary collaboration of all healthcare professions in a way that guides our colleges of medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, health sciences, and veterinary medicine to a greater understanding of the interconnectivity of all species and our environment.

The One Health Initiative goes beyond our current interprofessional programs to promote a greater understanding of how all healthcare professionals are impacted by the work of their colleagues.

The One Health Initiative principles and practices aim to inspire 黑料传送门鈥檚 faculty, staff, and students to work more collaboratively as respected colleagues who understand the nature and interdependency of humans, animals, and the environment, and to strengthen the bonds of healthcare professionals through education and research to benefit the health, quality of life, and well-being of all species.

Sincerely,

Kathleen H. Goeppinger, Ph.D.
